I Am Thirsty

Isaiah 44:1-4 NKJV

“Yet hear now, O Jacob My servant, And Israel whom I have chosen. Thus says the Lord who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you: ‘Fear not, O Jacob My servant; And you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen. For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring; They will spring up among the grass Like willows by the watercourses.’

I am NOT one that falls in and out of love with God. The blood Christ has me so free and I’ve seen  many miracles.   I want to spend every ounce of my life making sure that everybody else knows that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! I praise God for every ministry opportunity He has  given me and I’m so thankful for the relationship that I have with Jesus Christ.

But this morning I had to tell Him that I am so thirsty!  I am bored. I need to see His true revelation power in and around me. Satan has launched so many fiery darts at me that the rivers of water have almost  been depleted. Yesterday’s outpouring of the Holy Spirit is not enough for today. I am left longing for more. I do not want to be a kind of people that goes into captivity as Your word says. I am Your honorable people Lord! Come and fill me up!

Isaiah 5:13 NKJV

Therefore my people have gone into captivity, Because they  have no knowledge; Their honorable men are famished, And their multitude dried up with thirst.

I am going to hold on to The Rock of my salvation.  I’m going to drink from it. I will not be left thirsty but I will be filled up. Come Lord Jesus, flood this dry ground. I believe in You!

John 7:37-38 NKJV

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.  He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
